Conditions for men sexual pain problems
Sexual pain problems can significantly impact a man’s intimate relationships and overall well-being. In this section, we will discuss sexual pain problems in men, including their potential causes, symptoms, and the role of pelvic floor physiotherapy in addressing and managing sexual discomfort.
Men can have pain with erection and ejaculation, often relating to tight pelvic floor muscles.
Don’t put up with this problem. It is embarrassing to talk about. But our job is to be comfortable helping you sort this problem out.
Men can experience testicular pain, anal pain, perineal pain, penile pain. All of these pains might have their source in tight pelvic floor. Many people are familiar with “trigger points “ in tight muscles elsewhere in the body. The pelvic floor is just muscle like any other muscle in the body. If the muscles hold too much tension, over time, painful trigger points develop and cause pain. See prostatitis above. Sometimes pelvic pain is called “prostatitis” but there is actually no infection. The pain is coming from the muscles.
